Ise Grand Shrine and Wedded Rocks which are nearby. The shrine itself isn't as spectacular as some others in Japan (rather simple and the main building is not open to the public, only the Royal Family), but it's a very holy place that Japanese people are supposed to visit at sometime in their life and it's out in a forest. If you're interested in Shinto, you may want to consider it. It`s simplicity and beauty is what makes it so amazing. It's the oldest Shinto Shrine in Japan, dating back roughly 2000 years. http://www.isejingu.or.jp/english/
Mikimoto Pearl Island - a bit touristy, but it`s cool to see how they get the pearls. Do a tour to see how they grow the pearls, clean them, choose the ones to string and how the necklaces and stuff are made. Also there is a store where you can buy Mikimoto Pearl jewellery at a discount. http://www.mikimoto-pearl-museum.co.jp/en/
